Elise Filliccia is a Wedding and Portrait Photographer based in Detroit, Michigan. She captures meaningful moments that are timeless, romantic and true-to-life. I adored working with Elise! She hired me to develop her brand identity and design a new website for her wedding photography business. I’m very happy with how it turned out and I was so pleased when she texted me to tell me she booked 3 new wedding photography clients the week of her brand & website launch!

Elise Filliccia Photography’s brand vision is approachable luxury. We selected a timeless all-caps serif font, reminiscent of Vogue, complemented by an elegant script font. Her brand mark features a classic oval shape outlining her initials. Her colour palette is soft and muted to allow her true-to-life photo editing style to really stand out.

Her timeless brand identity is reflected throughout her completely original website design. Her website features static background images in black and white, with a sliding veil of text that the user can scroll over top. I sprinkled in some movement with auto-playing slideshows of her images on loop and behind the scenes video of Elise in action. In addition to her standard home, about, services and contact pages, I designed her a fully customized links page for her social media profiles as well as an unlisted info package that she can send to potential clients when they inquire.
